Anonymous whispered, "i love this whole project idea and most of all i love and miss the rev my only question is that- how is charity and sullivan relevant? i dont recall hearing jimmy or the sullivans ever give to charity (much less aleana) and you can really give to a charity that relates to why he died... so i feel like this project should put more relevance to it jimmy otherwise its just a charity project using jimmys face."

There is no connection, really, however on one of my fan pages on Facebook I had an idea for a ‘birthday project’ for Johnny Christ, last year.

A relative of Johnny’s, that I was in contact with at the time, said that the guys would probably prefer that some good was done, on their behalf. That idea stuck with me.

I just wanted it to be different.

It’s a case of being selfless and doing something good that I think they would appreciate, more. It also will say a lot about their fans.

There is no real connection, which is why I have allowed fans to choose their own charity.

I gave the idea to a couple of people who know the guys and they agreed that they would love the idea of charities benefiting from something.

It’s a more positive way for fans to do something good that the guys will like, and to do it in honour of Jimmy just adds to it.

Besides - we don’t know what Jimmy and his family/friends do. They may regularly help charities. They just don’t broadcast it.

Besides, the band have always been supportive of F*CK CANCER, so it shows that charity is important to them.

The Jimmy Sullivan Project, 2012.

This year, we are giving the project a theme… and we’re starting early to give everyone the chance to be involved.

The theme is… CHARITY.

Here is what I want you to do:

In the email, send me:

You do not have to tell us how much money you donated/sponsored/earned from a sponsored event. That information is yours.

We are doing this because, whenever there is a birthday or fans simply wish to send a gift, we send something physical like a scrap book. However, think about how they will feel to know that fans are helping those who need it on their behalf. Plus… it’s always good to try something new.

Let’s do this for Jimmy, for the guys and for the Sullivan’s.

Let’s show the world some love using charity.

There are always people worse off than us… let’s help them and make Jimmy smile (and save us all places with him in Heaven).

Once all entries are in, and the deadline is closed, I will begin preparing the posts that will be posted on the 28th December, 2012.

If you have any questions or problems, please send me a question - all questions/answers will be published.
